Online noodle dish events

The ASEAN-Japan Centre organized online cooking events to introduce noodle dishes of the ASEAN Member States.  The event was organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation.

The livestream event was held twice focusing on “Borneo” and “Mekong” areas respectively, and Ms. Yuriko Aoki, a Regional Cuisine Specialist, demonstrated how to prepare and cook the dishes.  About 60 people viewed the events.  From very specific questions about seasonings, spice and herbs which were received during the event, the viewers were those with keen interest in ASEAN cuisine and cooking.
