About the ASEAN-Japan Insights Series
The Series aims to be a relevant and leading information sharing platform in the region on ASEAN-Japan matters. It will be a hybrid, bilingual (English and Japanese) webinar series that will regularly feature hot topics in ASEAN and Japan and facilitate information sharing and knowledge sharing among industry, academia, governments, and enterprises within the region.
Introduction
The webinar “Breaking Barriers: Women Entrepreneurs in Innovative and Sustainable Businesses in ASEAN and Japan”, organized as part of the ASEAN-Japan Insights Series 2024, aims to explore the challenges and needs of ASEAN and Japanese women entrepreneurs in tech and innovation landscape, how women can participate meaningfully in the economic development of ASEAN and Japan in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The discussions will contribute to the upcoming roundtable of Young Women Entrepreneurs in ASEAN and Japan in November 2024 to be organized by the Centre.
